Techno Entrepreneur of the Year
Sharoni Nirmali Anthony - Co-Founder Zapmail, As a co-founder, I can attest to the dedication and hard work our team has poured into this project. In just 2 weeks of launch, Zapmail has gained an astounding 1500 + business sign-ups, with an emphasis on empowering local SMEs.
Young STEM Personality of the Year
Hirantha Basnayake - He designed a significant breakthrough in medical robotics ‘Developing an interactive communication robotic platform to minimize large gatherings, especially in pandemic situations. Creating a multitasking humanoid robot for interactive virtual ward rounds addresses pressing healthcare challenges.
The Well Being Award
Anagi Thanuja Gunasekera - Creator of the T Goodville Program, She created a and groundbreaking innovative idea to instill good values in children aged 2 to 11. This was extremely relevant in the current post-COVID period when children seem to have lost their inner moral compass. In 2021, she created The Goodville Program (GP),

Rishma Rizvi - Founder of Soapstoris, Her innovative and creative abilities have leader into formulating exceptional artisan Ayurvedic skincare products that cater to multiple skin issues.

Shenuk Dilishke Wijesinghe - He scored high scorer of the Royal Schools of Music in London in Singing, Associate of Wendy Whatmore Academy of Speech and Drama (Teachers Diploma), Award age group from 18 – 20 years of the ninth international JS Fest vocal competition Finland 2021, Gold medalist - Solo Singing competition Classical music category at the Bali International Choral Festival 2023, Category winner - Solo Singing competition Classical music category at the Bali International Choral Festival 2023ed the Best Actor's Award in 2022,
Appreciation Award
Fathima Zahra Nisfer - She is a Speaker and a Media personality. She was awarded 100 Young Achievers Award mainly by Awakening Canada. She founded Edu Free Academy as a free educational institution, providing free classes and school equipment for the benefit of poor students across the country, distributing free question papers across the country, and today free education is being provided in three languages for the benefit of about 35,000 students across the country.
Most Outstanding Undergraduate of the Year
B M Madushani Samudika Jayathilake - She is a Colour awardee of UOC for 4 consecutive years. She captained the Women’s Table Tennis Team of UOC 2021/22 which nurtured my leadership skills. Being in the University Table Tennis Team for 7 consecutive years and a member of the Amalgamated Club UOC and she is the secretary of the Sports subcommittee of the Faculty
Sports Woman of the Year
Vimoshi Nehasha Weerasinghe - She is the only young girl who has go beyond 3 forces on shooting in Sri Lanka. Undergraduate at University of Sri Jayewardenepura- BSc Honors in Sports Science and Management Having a new National record after participating an international tournament for the first time after shooting 60 shots for women. (MUNICH-GERMANY) NSSF National R&P Championship 2019 - 1st place and new final record NSSF Open R&P Championship 2018 - 1st place (new national record) NSSF National air gun championship 2023-25M sports pistol event (new national youth record).
Sports Man of the Year
Aruna Darshana - Sprinter Specializing in the 400 meters. He was appointed as the captain of the Sri Lankan 83 member contingent for the 2018 South Asian Junior Athletics Championships. Darshana won the 200, 400 m and contributed to the 4 × 400 m relay at the 2018 South Asian Junior Athletics Championships in Colombo. Also, Darshana won two gold medals at the 2018 Asian Junior Athletics Championships in Gifu, Japan, He also became the youngest Sri Lankan to break the benchmark of 46 seconds following his effort by clocking at 45.79 seconds. Currently he is taking part at the Asian Games 2022 in China and was placed 06th in the men's 400m event and yet to complete 4X400m mixed relay and Men’s relay. A young athlete from Trincomalee solely raised by a Single Mother.
Inclusivity Award
D M Nimesha Kaushani Perera - Senior Executive Health & Safety at SAGT - She is only female executive in Health, Safety and Environmental team at SAGT as well as in the Port of Colombo. She is a graduate of General Sir John Kothalawala Defense University, holding a BSc. in Logistics Management. She is responsible for formalizing and implementing policies, procedures and operations for the Health, Safety and Environmental functions at an international container terminal, where 540 are blue collar workers.
Courageous Youth of the Year
Suddirikku Dulanjali Ariyatilaka - She was born without arms and with deformed legs and have spent her life on a wheelchair. She was brought to an orphanage when she was an infant. With the blessings and support of her adoptive parents, she attended school. Despite her disabilities and challenges, she completed her degree this year and graduated from the University of Colombo. Her dream is to be a motivational speaker and inspire people with her own story.
Print Media Youth Journalist of the Year
Kamanthi Wickramasinghe - Daily Mirror - editorial since 2014 and have worked in the features desk writing articles on diverse issues from human rights to politics, environmental conservation, social issues, matters of public interest and so forth.
Outstanding Contribution Young People Award
Sayumi Rovinya Jayawardene - Is a young professional who has dedicated her career towards giving back to her community and her county. She is extremely passionate about community development and currently works in the non-governmental sector working with women in grassroots level communities. She has previously worked in the CSR sector in a leading conglomerate in Sri Lanka.
Young Leader of the Year
Geilee Geenadi Skandakumar - Currently Following a LLB and a BA in Politics and international Studies. She is a strong advocate for human rights. Gender right, discrimination against marginalized communities, global affairs and sustainability. She also takes a keen interest in volunteering, content creation, writing and youth empowerment. She is an intern at Chambers of Mr. M.A. Sumanthiran
Young Artist of the Year
Kethaki Dananjana Kapuru Bandara - She was nominated for state Award in 2015. She has been selected as a grade "A" singer by the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Co-operation. She is a holder of Sangeeth Visharada. (Bhatkhande Sangeeth Vidyapeeth). She was a programme presenter at the Sri Lanka Rupavahini co-operation for five years. She has released 08 songs composed and sung by her.
Positive Youtuber of the Year
Nilupuli Nayanathara Jayathilaka - She is a social worker, feminist, and YouTuber. In her journey she has made it her mission to bring attention to topics that are often considered taboo and to tackle important social issues that have a significant impact on our society. She uses YouTube channels (Social Work Diaries and She Breaks Taboos.
Most promising Rising Star in Employment
Gethmi Thimethma Algama - Brandix Apparel Limited - She is The Product Designer & Category Head of Aritzia. She has designed collections using Beeralu and applique which also made an impact on local artisans. She has done almost 1000 graphic designs for PVH (Calvin Klein)/ VS & CO, Maurices & Lane Bryant.
Youth Agro-Entrepreneur of the Year
M.G.Tharindu Lakmal Pushpakumara - founder of Ayu Lanka Food (Pvt) Ltd, flagship product is a cassava-based powder nutritional supplement, followed by cassava noodles as a healthier alternative to wheat-based noodles that can lead to celiac diseases.
Judges Award
M Prasangi Ravishani Fernando - Throughout her entire life, Prasangi has witnessed her father's dedication to working with vehicles, igniting her passion for them from a young age. Instead of pursuing further education like her friends after completing her O/L exams, she chose to immerse herself in her father's garage. Today, she has become a proficient Vehicle Painter and Mechanic, specializing in three-wheelers.
Outstanding Contribution to the Community
IAS Holdings (Pvt) Limited - IAS Holdings has been positively impacting the lives of young school children for several years by consistently offering breakfast, dry rations, and meals through the WIM Free Kitchen initiative. Every week, they have been generously providing nourishment to 100 children, a commitment that has persisted for the past three years. Their dedicated meal provision has played a vital role in promoting student attendance in numerous schools across Colombo.
Educators Empowering Youth
WP/JAYA/Dharmawijaya Vidyalaya - The school is located in Weragoda, an area that had recently gained notoriety due to issues related to drugs and unemployment. About one and a half years ago, Mr. L. S. P. Karunarathna assumed the role of principal at this school. He accepted the challenge with great compassion and a strong desire to transform the lives of children who had lost hope for the future. At the outset, the school had only 80 students and a handful of teachers. Undeterred, he and his dedicated team embarked on a door-to-door campaign, urging parents to send their children back to school. In addition to this outreach, Mr. Karunarathna ensured that the students received daily meals, provided them with school uniforms tailored to fit, and supplied them with shoes. Today, the school boasts an enrollment of 200 students who attend regularly.

Nishadi Gurusinghe - Founder of Bayleee, founded in 2018, She brought her First machine when she was 18 years old and after 2 failed brands, Bayleee started with just 4 designs on Instagram and 5 years later now have their first flagship store in Colombo City Centre.
Youth Professional of the Year
Mandapa Pandithage - Mechanical Engineering specializing in Mechatronics. University Football and Swimming teams and captained the Football team in 2020. Fourth year University Colorsman and third year Sri Lankan University Colorsman in Football. Studying for the Attorney - at - Law as a final year student won 48 prizes and awards at school prize giving ceremonies, which is the highest number of prizes won by a student in the history of Ananda College.

MJF Foundation - The MJF Charitable Foundation represents an alternative economic model, it transcends charity and corporate social responsibility one that is a genuinely sustainable and fair way of doing business. It works towards empowering the less privileged, through education & vocational training so that women, men and youth may find sustainable employment and lead lives filled with dignity and strength and avoid dependency.
Innovator of the Year
Chanaka Pathum Bandara - Is an inventor who has excellent research potential and Graduated from University of Ruhuna, Faculty of Agriculture. During his university life in 2014, he was met with an accident and left me disabled. Despite the disability, he has continued my journey with self-motivation and self-confidence and completed his degree with an Agriculture resource management and technology. He has invented more than 10 inventions with pending patents related to Agriculture sector and health sector which have been awarded in national level and international level. Gold medal for invention of Foot operated door handle with opener. Design, Development and Performance Evaluation of Mechanical Power Hoe and Patents Hand operating Type Smart Transplanter machine.
Youth Campaign of the Year
Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC - 'tomorrow is yours' VIBE AI CAMPAIGN, Their financial uncertainty, the country’s financial uncertainty, left them feeling defeated and devastated. Their dream was to get out of this country looking for greener pastures. With Vibe’s initiative The bank intend to re-ignite the passion they had for their lives and future. They show them that the possibilities are endless in the future. With the help of AI, Bank is able to show an ideal version of themselves – living their dream.
Art & Theater (Dancing)
Denathi Pussegoda - She is a dancer, choreographer, Dance Inspire LK Founder and content creator. She opened in February 2017, just by transforming a garage space into her humble little studio, studied Kandyan and Bharatanatyam, for over 15 years. Started learning ballet and Latin American, 485 K followers in her tiktok.
Most promising Rising Star in Employment Male Category
Abdul Munas Mohamed Mirshad - Daraz Sri Lanka, He is presently the Manager Operations Transport Daraz Sri Lanka, prior to this he worked as a Senior Executive Hub Development Grasshoppers (Pvt) Ltd, He was the President of Rotaract Club of Neptune Edification2020-2021. And was the Head Prefect of Baduriya Central College Year 2017.
Most Outstanding WINSPIRATION Mentorship Team of the Year
Finds Diamond Team – ( Binuri Rajasinghe, Arunod Atthanayake, K W Yashika Nipuni, Dr. Shehan Jayasuriya, Kasuni Jayasekera, Fathima Shirafa Siddeek, Imasha Rodrigo ) WINSPIRATION is a Youth Mentorship signature program of New Generation Sri Lanka designed by Dr. Sulochana Segera to mentor and guide youth on personality, professional and career development. This is the 2nd consecutive year NG Sri Lankan organized the same and they underwent 50 days mentorship program with national and international mentors. There were 6 teams.

Gangulee Walpola - She is an Attorney-at-Law and artist. presently attached to London Stock Exchange Group. Her social media is focused on these stereotype attitudes of our society. Presently on her FB she has 3.8K, Instagram 79.8k followers and tiktok 102.4K followers.
Youth Travel & Hospitality Award
K.K.G.Ashan.S.Wijetilleke - He is a Licensed National Tourist Guide and a Passionate Traveler; Wildlife Enthusiast and an Environmental Conservationist. A Graduate from University of Colombo, holding a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and Environment Sciences under the Department of Zoology and Environmental Science. And he is the proud owner of his own brand, 'Experiential Traveler Sri Lanka'.
Best Mentee of the WINSPIRATION '23 Female Category “Fine Diamonds Team”
Fathima Shirafa Siddeek - She is an art faculty undergraduate at the University of Colombo. Out of 50 participants she was highlighted for her presentation skill, team spirit, knowledge and active participation.

Dr. Dilmika Srimal - An esteemed member of the New Generation EXCO. Originally hailing from Hambanthota, he pursued his education at Colombo University and is now a dedicated Medical Officer at FADNA. presented to a young and passionate individual who embarked on a journey of learning and collaboration with the private sector at WIM events four years ago. Even in the face of skepticism from some of his friends, who jokingly teased him for attending events organized by women-led organizations.
