Pramila Acharya Rijal is the founder president of South Asian Women Development Forum, with a SAARC recognized body status.
Ms. Rijal is also the Charter President of Zonta Club Kathmandu Nepal, a global organization of executives and professionals working together to advance the status of women. She is the founder member and past president of Federation of Women Entrepreneurs Associations of Nepal (FWEAN), past chairperson of SAARC Chamber Women Entrepreneurs Council, a sub sector of SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
She is the member of Industry, commerce Promotion Council, chaired by the Prime Minister of Nepal. She is also the former board member of Institute of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Ministry of the Govt. of Nepal, board member Industrial Promotional Board, Industry of Ministry, board member National Women’s Commission of Govt. of Nepal. Ms. Rijal is also the former executive member of SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Apex Chamber of SAARC region.
Ms. Rijal has been actively involved in promoting women entrepreneurship in Nepal and the South Asian Region through various national federations, chambers and institutions. She has also been involved as a consultant in the formation of the Women Entrepreneurs Committee under the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry. She has the expertise in promoting women entrepreneurship, developing social enterprises at the national, regional and international level.
